About Maple Studios

Maple Studios is a startup studio that provides collaborative space and fractional executive support to entrepreneurs and small businesses. We serve industrial technology companies and physical product builders from startup to growth stage.

The uniqueness of Maple Studios is that our members have access to experienced engineers, testing environments, marketing, and distribution expertise through Ramco Innovations and Grace Technologies.

Ramco Innovations: Housed within a leading national factory automation specialist, Maple Studios provides an array of shared services directly to our members. We have 10,000 square feet of workspace including dedicated desks, private offices, workbenches, and private tinker labs.

Grace Technologies: Grace Technologies is a global leader in innovative electrical safety products and predictive maintenance solutions based in Davenport, Iowa. Maple Studios Davenport opens in fall 2023 at Grace Technologies.

Our membership-based support system helps companies fast-track their development as a business fostering innovation by removing many of the challenges an entrepreneur typically faces with day to day administrative needs, infrastructure and access to industry intelligence.

Maple Studios History and our team

Maple Studios was established in 2018 as “Maple Ventures”, a 3,000 square foot workspace in the Ramco Innovations campus serving the needs of eight early-stage companies since its inception. 

Plans were put in place during the summer of 2022 to expand the space for more founders and offerings. The new space, still on the campus of Ramco Innovations, opened in March 2023 and is triple the size of the original space allowing for more companies to benefit from the studio. 

In 2022, Maple Ventures became Maple Studios to better reflect the startup studio model.

In 2023, the team at Grace Technologies launched Maple Studios Davenport to serve entrepreneurs in eastern Iowa.

Maple Studios runs as a startup studio model that offers fractional services meaning the fractional executive services provided to the Maple members come directly from the established company in which the studio is based. In this case, our shared services are provided by the talented staff of Ramco Innovations and Grace Technologies, respectively.

West Des Moines, Ramco Innovations

Maple Studios is a 10,000 square foot studio on the campus of Ramco Innovations in West Des Moines, Iowa. Members can choose from both the fractional executive services and also what space their team needs.

The space options includes:

Maple Studios Davenport, Grace Technologies

Maple Studios Davenport is a startup studio on the campus of Grace Technologies in Davenport, Iowa. Members can choose from both the fractional executive services and also what space their team needs.
